Four times a year, FLEAS partners with the Texas Coalition for Animal Protection (TCAP) and the Little Elm Animal Shelter to provide free microchips to pets in our community. A microchip is a tiny investment in lifelong safety — a permanent form of identification that can’t fall off, fade, or be removed.

A microchip is a tiny investment in lifelong safety — a permanent form of identification that can’t fall off, fade, or be removed.
Thanks to community support, we’ve been able to expand this program each year. Each microchip represents a future reunion, a family kept whole, and one less pet entering the shelter system.
Here’s a look at how many pets received free microchips through FLEAS‑sponsored clinics:
Upcoming clinic dates are posted on our Events page and social media channels.
Our Microchip Clinics are funded entirely by donations and powered by volunteers who believe every pet deserves safety and a chance to get home. Whether you attend a clinic, share our posts, or support the program financially, you’re helping protect pets across the Little Elm area.
There are many ways to join the FLEAS family in our mission to protect and provide for Little Elm’s animals:
Your tax-deductible gift powers our programs, funding everything from life-saving medical care and adoption subsidies to microchips and spay/neuter vouchers.
Your donation to the Pet Food Pantry ensures that no local family has to choose between feeding themselves or their pet.
Your time is one of the most powerful ways to transform the lives of Little Elm area animals. Your hands-on support is the heartbeat of our mission.
