A Year of Transformation and Growth
This year, our work expanded in powerful ways. What began as a small group supporting shelter pets has grown into a full network of programs that help community pets stay with the families who love them, while continuing our strong support for shelter pets.

To reflect this transformation, we’ve adopted a new name: Friends of Little Elm Animal Support. Same heart. Same dedication. Just a clearer name that reflects the impact we’re making together.

Volunteers contributed 6,702 hours this year,
|
|
an estimated $213,124 in in‑kind support based on a $31.80 hourly rate.

OUR PROGRAMS IN ACTION
|

This past year, thanks to the generosity of our supporters, Friends of Little Elm Animal Support (FLEAS) expanded vital programs, responded to urgent emergencies, and—most importantly—kept families and their pets together during times of need.

Medical Support
|
Ensured lifesaving treatment for 13 animals, including a young kitten with a collapsed lung
|
|
Adoption Marketing
|
Featured 42 shelter pets through coordinated social media campaigns and electronic billboards
|
|
|
|
|
|
Enrichment
|
Provided treats and toys for shelter pets and training for a volunteer
|
|
Adoption Subsidies
|
Subsidized adoption fees for 23 pets during July
|
|
Rescue Support
|
Helped 7 dogs and 15 cats find rescue placement and provided wildlife transport
|
|
|
|
|
|
Microchips
|
Provided 168 microchips to local pets at no cost to their families
|
|
Pet Food Pantry
|
Supported 811 families by feeding 1,600 pets
|
|
Spay/Neuter
|
Funded 113 surgeries and rabies vaccinations for community pets
|
