From Parasites to Paradise:
Rogue & Scarlet’s Happy Tail
Dirty, sick, and hidden under a shed, Rogue and Scarlet needed a miracle. What they got was a temporary foster spot, a self-appointed "kitten-sitter" big brother, and foster parents who couldn't even make it an hour after dropping them off at the shelter. Click below for a double foster-fail story that will make your day!

Each week, FLEAS spotlights a shelter pet across social media and digital signs to help them find loving homes. We’re thrilled to share that Jabba and Bennie were adopted last month — two big smiles starting brand‑new chapters!
Bing Bong, Biff, and Hope had their turn in the spotlight too, charming everyone they met… but their perfect families haven’t found them just yet.

Let’s help these three sweethearts start their happy tails. 🐾💛

Ginger’s Big Step Forward! 🐾✨
If you've been following sweet Ginger's journey, we have exciting news: her surgery was a success, and she's officially cone-free! 🎉
Ginger's severely injured femur had healed at a 90-degree angle, requiring an extraordinary surgery using custom 3D models and surgical guides to straighten her leg.
Now, she's learning to walk properly again through physical therapy, laser treatments, and underwater treadmill sessions. It's a big step toward the pain-free life she deserves!
But her journey isn't over. Ginger's specialized care comes with significant costs. Your gift helps cover her surgery and rehabilitation while ensuring we can continue saying "yes" to the next shelter pet who needs extraordinary care.

Keep Your Pets Safe This Spooktacular Season! 🎃🐾
Halloween is full of fun for humans, but it can be downright scary (and dangerous) for our four-legged family members. As you prep your costumes and stock up on treats, keep these quick safety tips in mind:
- 🍬 Hide the Treats: Keep chocolate, raisins, and sugar-free candy containing xylitol out of paw's reach.
- 🏠 Create a Safe Space: Doorbells, costumes, and visitors can be stressful. Give pets a quiet place to relax away from the excitement.
- 👻 Keep Costumes Comfy: Avoid anything that restricts movement, vision, or breathing. Never force a costume on an unhappy pet!
- 🐾 Check IDs & Microchips: Make sure tags and microchip contact information are current in case your pet slips out the door.
Have a happy, safe, and tail-wagging Halloween! 👻
