An emergency vet visit revealed a collapsed lung caused by a ruptured bullae. A chest tube helped—briefly. But when her lung collapsed again, we were out of options… except one.
A rare, risky donor blood patch procedure gave Belle one last chance—and miraculously, it seems to be working. Now she’s resting, healing, and trying to act like the kitten she was meant to be.
But she’s not out of the woods. Belle’s back leg was also likely crushed in an injury while still tiny, and she’ll need amputation soon to live pain-free.
